3. 'Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot' was the first single released from 's 'Mercury Falling' album and reached the #15 spot in the UK. The remixers again went to town on the track resulting in a variety of remixes including the 'A&G Classic Edit', the 'A&G Full Testament Mix', the 'A&G Great Divide Mix' the 'A&G Great Divide Dub' to name but a few.

4. The near seven minutes of 'Let Your Soul Be Your Pilot' is the album's centrepiece. Lyrically, it's an update of 'Bridge Over Troubled Water', a message of hope to a tortured soul, but musically it oozes quality, using Branford Marsalis, The Memphis Horns and The East London Gospel Choir to sound both powerful and restrained.

7. This might not be the most popular Sting album. The only hit off it was "LEt Your Soul Be Your pilot" but it's still a damn fine album. A few reruns - LA Belle Dam Sans Merci has hints of Shape of My Heart about it (and comes up short). But the opening 3 tracks are as good as anything Sting has recorded/5().
